What are special order OEM parts?

We keep a large inventory of genuine and aftermarket parts for Honda quads, mowers, garden equipment, marine, power equipment etc. but we don’t have everything! When it comes to less popular parts, parts for older machines, or one-off parts for specific models we offer an online Honda parts diagram catalogue.

Just look up your item, fill in the box below, email or call with the items reference and your machine’s model, type of machine, age of the machine and serial number, and we will contact you promptly with a price and availability. 

*Please note- these parts are not stock items, so ordering, shipping, backorders and returns policies on these parts differ from our stock items. Please familiarise yourself with our Special order OEM parts policies below before ordering.

 

Ordering

Once you find your machine, look through the parts diagrams until you have the parts you wish to price and or order.

Take note of the diagram reference; every diagram page has its own unique reference number:

E.g. T2-E4 parts 12, 15, 31 etc.

Once you have your parts picked fill them into the form below or email them along with your machine’s model, type of machine, age of the machine, and serial number to parts@coynes.ie or call 0449343211. We will price and contact you with the price and availability.

Our parts diagrams are an ongoing process, so not every is on out site yet. If you cannot find your machine, continue to fill out the form including your machine’s model, type of machine, age of the machine, and serial number to parts@coynes.ie or call 0449343211. We will price and contact you with the price and availability.

If you’re happy to go ahead with your order, we will take payment up front over the phone or through PayPal, then order your parts. Your invoice, order statues and track and trace numbers will then be emailed to you.

 

Special order OEM parts wait time

We order all our genuine Honda parts from Honda Ireland. Ordered parts usually take up to three days to be delivered to us and another two to three days to get to you. A good rule of thumb is a week wait unless Honda Ireland does not have the part in stock and it is back-ordered.

Once a part is back-ordered from Honda Ireland we will contact you by email with an estimated time of arrival. Most back-ordered parts come from Honda Europe and are no longer than two weeks wait.

 

Backordered special order OEM parts

When a part we order is back-ordered with Honda, we are added to a queue with all other retailers waiting on that back-ordered part. When these parts come back into stock from production they are shipped out to everyone on the list.

We get an estimated time-of-arrival for each part from Honda, which is very accurate but can change with production, shipping issues etc. Backordered parts mostly come from Europe but can come from many of Honda’s factories and part centres all over the world, so parts for old machines or machines not popular in Europe may take longer.

 

Cancelling special order OEM parts order

If your special order has been processed by Honda there is NO WAY to stop the order. Honda will not take back parts, so be sure you want your parts before ordering. Contact parts@coynes.ie a.s.a.p. if you wish to cancel your order. We will check if it has been processed by Honda if it hasn't we can cancel it and issue you a refund. If your order has been processed a refund will not be possible. Make sure you're happy with these terms before continuing.

In the cases of long waits on backorders, we will contact you and see if you would like to wait for your part or cancel your order and issue you a refund.

 

Discontinued OEM parts

From time to time parts ordered are discontinued. Mostly these are parts for old Honda products, and we're informed of the discontinued part before we process your order, but some times we do not know a part is discontinued until it is ordered from Honda. In cases such as these, we will contact you immediately and offer a superseded part if available or full refund.

 

Returning special order OEM parts

All electrical components are non-refundable. If a special-order part has to come from Honda it is non-refundable, if it is a part that we keep on-the-shelf we can issue a refund with a 35% restocking charge.

Refunds must be returned with a Return Authorization Form. Please call or email parts@coynes.ie to be issued an RA Form. This form helps with restocking, parts exchange, account reference etc.

Any parts returned must be unopened, never installed and in its original packaging with all instructions, tags and labels. Please note that there is a 35% restocking charge on any Special order OEM part returned excluding postage. This will be taken out of your return credit.

Strict Policies concerning products such as wire harnesses or electrical components will have no return authorization, internal credit or any amount refunded. No exceptions. 

 

My order was refunded but I do not see the money in my bank yet.

Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method as it was received. This process usually takes banks about 3 business days for refunds to be processed following receipt of your return.

All parts are covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty. Electronics are universally excluded.

We will factor in the delivery costs when we contact you with pricing. All orders under 20kg will avail of our standerd track and trace national delivery for €8. We send all our orders out with Fastway couriers track and trace.
